Skincare Haul & First Impressions - Neutrogena and Vichy

I was away from the blog for a week and now that I'm back I noticed that we hit 100 followers on Bloglovin! I'm so happy! I know this is such a small number compared to other bloggers that have hundreds and thousands of followers, but this is just a hobby and I really like blogging once in a while, it means a lot to me knowing that people are enjoying my little beauty corner on the Internet. Thank you so much to all of you that are part of this little family!
Moving on... Now that my spending ban is over, it's time to shop! Just kidding, I was on the pharmacy to buy just toothpaste but I was walking around the store and I saw new products and I started putting them in the basket and that's how I ended up with four skincare products to haul for you today. Keep reading to find out what I bought and to see some first impressions!

NEUTROGENA VISIBLY CLEAR SPOT PROOFING DAILY WASH -  14,25€

I'm on the hunt for a good cleanser for so long, and I still haven't found one that I'm completely happy about. After seeing this one that claims to help prevent acne I decided to try it, I'm all about that! I've been using it since I got it and sincerely I don't like it that much. It's like the other cleansers that I've tried - it's too drying. I have oily skin and I want anything that dries my skin, but this is too much. After I wash my face with it I have dry patches on the sides of the nose, mouth and chin. Not good! And it seems that it's not cleaning the face, it's not too foamy and the smell is strong. Basically it seems that I'm washing my face with scented water. I don't like it but I will use it until the end. By the way, if you know a good cleanser for oily skin tell me please, I really need some recommendations!

NEUTROGENA VISIBLY CLEAR SPOT PROOFING SMOOTHING SCRUB - 14,25€

I've never been into exfoliants, but I'm all about trying new things and I thought this one would be worth to try maybe I would like it. After trying the cleanser I was afraid to try the scrub, I was hopping for it to be much better than the cleanser, and it is! I used it once and the first impression was very nice. It's not harsh, it feels very nice massaging it on the face, and after washing and drying my face my skin feels so soft and no dry patches! So happy that this one wasn't money wasted.

VICHY PORE PURIFYING CLAY MASK - 18,59€

As I said above I'm all about trying new things, so why not try a new mask? I liked the Garnier sheet masks but they caused me an allergy so I stopped buying them. The ones from Vichy seemed awesome, so I bought the one that suits my skin type the best. What Vichy says about this mask on their website: "Vichy's first mineral face mask combining two ultra-fine white clays with Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water to help eliminate excess sebum and impurities for purified pores and softer skin." All of this seems very good, han? After using it for a couple times I've been enjoying the results. My skin feels much softer, cleaned, the pores are smaller and the oils take longer to "arrive" for a couple days. This is a mask that I definitely need to use like two times a week or even three. So far really like it!

VICHY MINERALIZING THERMAL WATER - 11,29€

Last but not least I bought a thermal water. I use thermal water a lot, and mine from Avène finished so I needed to get a new one. They just had big sizes from La Roche Posay and from Vichy. As this one was the cheapest I bought it lol. There's nothing much to say about it, it's like the other thermal waters - refreshes and hydrates the face. Love it!

Adoro!

That was my haul! Have you bought any skincare products lately?

E este foi o meu haul! Compraste alguns produtos de cuidados de rosto recentemente?

  2. I've tried a couple of beauty bits from Vichy but I haven't delved much into their skincare range but I really love the sound of a water mist, as someone with dry skin I can imagine these being so great to use nearing to Winter time! xx

That mask sounds great but shame about the cleanser. I really recommend cleansing oils but oily skin which may sound counterproductive but trust me they work! My favourite is the bareminerals one :)
